Itinerary

1pm - Meet at the Bribe Island Butterfly House, 208 First Avenue, Bongaree

There will a brief session covering the best types of equipment recommended for macro photography. You will then be instructed on various macro photography techniques, specific to photographing butterflies. 

Techniques covered will include how to achieve great images, no matter whether you are hand-holding, using a tripod or using a macro ring flash or light.

There will also be instruction on the recommended depth-of-field needed for great butterfly shots, composition, focusing suggestions, backgrounds, lighting and much more.

4pm – Finish Butterfly Photography Workshop

This three hour workshop is designed to give you the opportunity to photograph a variety of butterflies, in different situations/conditions.

Michael will give professional photographic tuition throughout the workshop, including one-on-one time for participants. He will teach you how to take the best possible photos as well as getting the most out of your camera.

$125 (plus GST)
