About the Workshop and Tour
This new photography workshop incorporates the best the east coast of Tasmania has to offer. From the moment you are picked up at your accommodation in Hobart until you are dropped off at the end of the workshop, everything is covered. Michael has scouted the best possible locations and subjects, so that you will come back with lots of photos and great memories!

Hobart hotel pick up and drop off included (Quest Trinity House). Participants will need to book a night's accommodation at Quest Trinity House in Hobart the day before the workshop starts and the on the night the workshop finishes.

Bay of Fires - 3 nights at 'Panorama' in St Helens
All transport (bus) within Tasmania is included, starting and finishing at Quest Trinity Hotel in Hobart.
There is no “minimum level” required regarding photographic ability. Beginners and highly experienced shooters alike are all very welcome to join us. You will receive plenty of individual one-on-one time that will be geared towards your own personal skill levels and needs.

Your Tutor: Michael Snedic
Michael Snedic, Professional Photographer and Proprietor of WildNature Photo Expeditions, has been passionate about the natural world since he was very young and has now been photographing wildlife and nature for twenty years. He is one of Australia’s most accomplished and published nature photographers, his images having won numerous awards. Michael’s images have been published across Australia and the world, in hundreds of publications. He has also written many dozens of magazine articles on nature/photography since 2001, including Australian Geographic, Wildlife Australia, Birdlife Australia, the UK’s BBC Wildlife and Australian Photography (Australia’s largest-selling photography magazine) which he has been a feature writer for since 2006.
Michael is honoured to be a Nikon School tutor as well as The Nature Conservancy Australia’s Photo Competition Ambassador and judge for three years running.
You will be picked up from your Hobart accommodation in a 12 seater bus, then be driven to the Freycinet Coast to your accommodation at Bicheno By The Bay. There we will spend three glorious days photographing sunrises, sunsets, seascapes/landscapes and wildlife. The workshop includes a half day cruise on stunning Wineglass Bay.
On day four will then drive to the Bay of Fires, where we will spend three nights at our accommodation at Panorama in St Helens. Highlights include sunrise shoots at Picnic Rocks and the Eddystone Point Lighthouse, beach sunset shoots, seascapes/landscapes plus another cruise at Binalong Bay. At the end of the workshop, you will be driven back to your accommodation in Hobart.

Your position on the tour will be guaranteed immediately upon payment of non-refundable deposit of AU$750.00 (plus GST) The balance will be due up to 60 days prior to the start of the workshop.
Cancellation up to 60 days before departure - deposit forfeited. Cancellation between 60 and 30 days before departure - 50% of total workshop price forfeited. Cancellation less than 30 days before departure or during tour, no refund available.
WildNature COVID 19 Cancellation Policy:
In the event of the cancellation of the 7 day East Coast of Tasmania photography workshop, or you are unable to travel to the state of the workshop or tour due to Government-imposed travel restrictions, specifically due to COVID 19, you will be eligible for the following:
- A full refund, less any cancellation fees incurred by the operator from the tour accommodation and activity suppliers.
